Hurry Summer

Hurry SummerI know I’ll be eating those words — Hurry Summer — the middle of July, but right now I’m so ready for sunshine and warm breezes. On our beach trip last week we had great weather and really enjoyed the warm sun before returning home to cold, damp rain and even a light dusting of snow. Looking back through the photos, this one stood out. The color from the chairs, the deep blue sky and deep shadows created a fantastic color pallet. This was a shot I couldn’t resist.

Our rental cottage Dolphin Run had a spectacular panoramic view of the beach. Several cool beverages, great conversation and much laughter were enjoyed in this spot — feet propped up of course.

Shot with my 10–22mm lens and Canon 430EX Flash. ISO100, f18. View Large.
