Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns
Spotted these two acorns this morning when I took Bentley out for his walk. Walked around the yard a bit to figure out a place to photograph them. Settled on the tree stump in the natural area out by the barn. Late this afternoon went out to take the shot and was pleased to see filtered light under the tree. Shining through the monkey grass I knew this would make great bokeh.
Shot with my 50mm compact macro lens. ISO100, f4.5, exposure compensation -.67. View Large.

This is so beautiful – I love it!
Cool!
great close up shot! It always amazes me how sometimes the simplest shot can be so beautiful. Great job.
